Strat your stack

• This round is a coalition of trivia and a variation of tic-tac-toe.
• You will be provided with six pieces of three different sizes—two small, two medium and two large of the same colour.
• Participants will be given a total time of 60 seconds to answer the question directed at them.
Teams will have a question directed at them alternatively.
• Participants get the opportunity to place a piece on the board after answering a question correctly.
• The pieces can be stacked over one another based on their size (like Matryoshka Dolls).
• Participants need to strategically place their pieces.
• They can either place a piece directly in an empty cell or on top of the opponent’s smaller pieces.
• The first team to connect three pieces horizontally, vertically, or diagonally, wins.
• In case of exhaustion of questions or the inability to form a pattern, a bonus question will be provided to win the round.
• The team, who wins the game, qualifies for a second round of the same.

02.

Trick or trail

• This round has a trail of 25 steps and a total of 12 questions.
• A pool of teams will be competing against each other to clear this round.
• The game aims to finish the trail by answering riddles asked by the host.
• If the total number of questions gets exhausted, the furthest team on the trail wins.
• A riddle will be open for all teams in a single pool.
• The first team to pounce will get the opportunity to solve the riddle first.
The teams will get a total of five minutes.
• Every team has a maximum of one chance to solve the riddle.
• If one team gives an incorrect answer, the other teams can pounce as long as the time hasn’t been exhausted.
• The number of steps a team can advance will depend on how quickly they solve the riddle.
• If a team solves it in
- In the first minute, they will advance five steps.
- In the second and third minutes, they will advance three steps.
- In the fourth minute, they will advance two steps.
- In the fifth minute, they will advance a single step.
• The trail will comprise positive and negative stops.
• When the team encounters a positive, they get an extra advancement.
• When the team encounters a negative, they will have to retract a step.
• Every team will have three lifelines throughout the game. They can be used only once.
• Lifeline 1: Hint
Contestants get a hint to solve the riddle. There is no reduction in points for using the hint.
It can be used at any point in the game
• Lifeline 2: Double Dip
The teams get a chance to guess again for the same question.
The lifeline has to be opted for before the team’s first guess.
The points earned by answering the riddle remain the same.
It can be used at any point in the round
• Lifeline 3: Block the buzzer
This lifeline enables teams to block the other teams from answering for the next 60 seconds.
The team using this lifeline must answer within 60 seconds. Failing to do so would result in a negative point.
This lifeline cannot be used after the 9th question.
